As Co-Chair of GIFPP, Professor Martin champions the concept of “Return on Impact”—where every investment must yield not just financial returns but also measurable social and environmental value. He issues a global call:

“We are fighting new battles—diseases, poverty, climate change. Peace must go beyond being a slogan; it must be a measurable indicator. Every dollar invested should generate at least ten dollars in social and environmental value.”

Drawing from his experience at Rabdan Academy and partnerships across the GCC, Professor Martin is shaping an Open Ecosystem model for GIFPP:

  1. Government & International Bodies: Enact transparent and stable policies to ensure a legal framework for sustainable investment.
  2. Businesses & Investment Funds: Provide flexible capital and share risk with startups and social projects.
  3. Academia & NGOs: Measure impact, ensure oversight, and train high-quality human resources.

This network not only connects the three pillars but also unleashes synergistic power—transforming ideas into practical and innovative solutions.

The “30–60–90 Day” Action Plan

Driven by speed and intensity proven at international forums, GIFPP commits to the following milestones:

  • 30 Days: Launch global social impact projects, notably the “Prisoner Entrepreneurship” initiative.
  • 60 Days: Open the “Global Hyper-Connectivity Fund” to finance poverty reduction and climate adaptation.
  • 90 Days: Implement a Social Value Metrics system to measure investment impact across five pillars: environment, education, healthcare, equality, and technology.

Each milestone is more than a number—it is a concrete action ensuring no one is left behind.

Empowering Innovation and the Next Generation

Leveraging design thinking and blockchain technology, Professor Martin  drives key initiatives:

  • A transparent trading platform for sustainable agriculture in conflict zones, tackling poverty at its root.
  • Telemedicine solutions delivering basic health services to remote communities.
  • Z-Generation Accelerator: Empowering 1 million young entrepreneurs by 2030 to turn ideas into global businesses.
