He also called for empowering Gen Z through education, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Mr. Roger Leitner is a distinguished business economist and executive with over 35 years of international leadership experience. He spent the majority of his career in senior roles with a major Swiss banking institution, serving in Zurich, Dubai, and Singapore. More recently, he held a senior executive position with a Swedish digital transformation company whose chairman was the founding chairman of MobiFone Vietnam.
In Vietnam, Mr. Leitner led the development of a fintech venture and initiated transformative projects in regenerative medicine. His career spans a diverse range of industries, including mergers and acquisitions, fintech innovation, telecom restructuring, and a luxury mega-yacht project in collaboration with Porsche Design, which he led from concept to execution that was built in Vietnam and Sweden.
In addition to his role as Chairman & CEO of the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Leitner holds multiple board and non-executive directorships. He also serves as Chairman of the SACC’s Vietnam Committee.
The Swiss–Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC), originally founded as the Swiss–South East Asian Chamber of Commerce (SEA) in 1994, is a dynamic, independent, non-profit association. Its diverse international membership includes leading Swiss multinational corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and a strong network of industry experts across its focus countries.
SACC is committed to advancing bilateral economic ties between Switzerland and key regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan. In 2025, Mr. Roger Leitner joined forces with the Fellowship to co-found the Global Investment Forum for Peace & Prosperity (GIFPP). As Co-Chairman, he leads a visionary platform that brings together investors, policymakers, and global thought leaders to catalyze responsible investment aligned with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At the inaugural GIFPP summit in Bangkok, Mr. Leitner delivered an inspiring keynote address, urging a shift from profit-only mindsets toward purpose-driven capital—capital that heals communities, restores ecosystems, and fosters long-term peace.
His conviction that “investment is not merely a transaction, but a promise to future generations” embodies the guiding philosophy of the Forum.
